The joint initiative of the Globalworth Foundation and the Julian Cochran Foundation resulted in the establishment of the scholarship program "Bridge to the future - Young Artists Support Found". The project is addressed to instrumentalists and vocalists aged 18 to 26. Students of music schools, students and graduates of music universities, Polish citizens.
Each of the 15 scholarship holders will be free to use the received funds, 2,000 euro, for the development of their musical career.
The aim of the scholarship program is to support young talents in individual challenges connected with professional development. We want to stimulate young people's creativity, support and promote their professional and educational development. In addition, the scholarship will enable them to participate in artist residencies and professional networking and mentoring activities.
The first stage of the project will be dedicated to the personal presentation of the participants. We want to get to know the applicants better. We are interested in their dreams and plans for the near future connected to their music development. A jury composed of art and business representatives will select 48 artists-musicians qualified to the next stage.
The second stage will focus on the musical skills of the participants. The international jury, which will include prominent figures from the world of classical music: David Watkin (UK), Yejin Gil (South Korea/Germany) and Benjamin Woodroffe (Australia) will select 15 scholarship winners on the based on 10-15 minutes video recording.
Additionally, the purpose of the Fund is to connect scholars from Poland and Romania and create the opportunity for their artistic exchange.
